Biography

In 1994, two friends with a mutual love and respect for Hiphop decided to start a dynamic duo in the tradition of the greats: Pete Rock and CL Smooth, Eric B & Rakim, Cash Money and Marvelous, Rob Base and DJ EZ Rock, Captain and Tenille, and so on and yo. Thus Tirade and C-Doc became LOWdown, taking the idea that if the Hiphop classic LP "THE LOW END THEORY" was a group instead of an album, then it would be them. They immediately embarked on tracks for their debut, "groundZERO", a bass-heavy, boom-bap romp with dope lyrics and tight-ass beats. In 2004 they finished the record. Now, these two members of the World's First Virtual Rapp Squad (The Impossebulls) bring the LOWdown funk as a side project to their other Hiphop efforts. You can catch them performing LOWdown joints at Bulls shows and working on new music as they see fit. But it all comes back to 1994...the sound, the feeling, and the funk. LOWdown...
