Biography

Every few years, a rap talent comes along that totally revolutionizes the rap game and creates new standards by which all other rap talent is measured. LUNATIC The Messiah is that talent! He has garnered numerous accolades and awards for his unique skills and is considered one of Chicago's hottest unsigned rap acts.

LUNATIC's style is indescribable. He is definitely street, definitely hardcore, yet with a level of insight & wisdom well beyond his years. The versatile aspect of his craft is astonishing, especially at a point in history when mainstream Hip-Hop music has become monotonous and unoriginal. Yes, rappers do come a dime a dozen, but an energetic lyricist who can hypnotize you with a superior flow that is mind boggling....are one in a million!

He has shared stages with many of the hottest Hip-Hop stars in the industry including Outkast, Busta Rhymes, Fat Joe & Big Pun, The Notorious B.I.G., Jay-Z, The Wu-Tang Clan, Common, Junior Mafia, Qualo, KRS 1, Redman, Blahzay Blah, Coolio, Nas, AZ & Ja Rule. He has also recorded songs with several established artists on Chicago's music scene, including Newsense of PsychoDrama, Big Rap of Creator's Way, E, Johnson (formerly of R&B group Precyse) and others.

Performing at clubs from the Carolinas to the Midwest for years, LUNATIC has self-promoted and headlined countless concerts, always pushing a varying roster of local and hot Chicago talent.
LUNATIC founded his independent label Cadre Enterprises in 2000 and has since acquired some of Chicago's hottest vocal and production talent.? Unsatisfied with limiting the company to simply releasing albums, LUNATIC has transformed Cadre Enterprises into a fully-functioning artist development company offering services ranging from photography, graphics and web design to audio and video recording, editing and production.

With a roster of about a dozen artists, LUNATIC plans to dominate the Chicago rap scene in 2006 beginning with the release of his long-anticipated sophomore effort, "The Interview" (which has been pushed back till spring because of legal issues) and debut releases by several other artists from the label.

Teaming up with the Chicago Hip-Hop Initiative and the Chicago Local Organizing Committee for the 2006 National Hip-Hop Politcal Convention as the head videographer, Cadre Enterprises will be promoting many positive music events in the Chicagoland area, interviewing celebrities and local political representatives for appearances on Cadre Enterprises latest venture......Cadre Quarters TV (CQTV) to be airing on CAN-TV Channel 19 in Chicago as well as other cable access stations throughout the U.S.

LUNATIC was Chicago's 2000 WGCI/Miller Lite Freshest M.C. winner, wrote and performed the rap for the opening to Sega`s NBA 2K2 video game that hit the streets in the fall of 2001 and also dropped vocals on the Knockout Kings 2002 boxing game! This bilingual superstar is a creative force like no other. So listen for yourself. Once you hear his flow, you will know...why he is The Messiah.
