With D'Angelo-like (read: shirtless) album covers and promises to show "all the hot mommies how a real man do," Columbia, Missouri-based R&B singer Luvelli is not lacking in confidence. But for all his bravado, he's not lacking in talent, either. When Luvelli coos, "Mamacita can you feel me?" just try to say no.
Unarguably one of Rap/R and B's sexiest upcoming crooners, Luvelli has no competition when it comes to this brand of music. He flaunts his songwriting skills with concepts that are brutally honest, and down-to-earth, in a way only he can. On songs like "MAMACITA" and "YA FEEL ME," Luvelli is destined to steal the hearts of all women, especially those attracted to his ghetto realism. And it isn't just what he says that attracts women. He explains, "It's all in how you deliver it. At times, I am romantic, at times I have a sense of humor, and at other times I'm spontaneous. A woman knows, by your delivery, whether you mean what you say, so I try to make sure I deliver my songs with that finesse. That's how I got my name Luvelli." The self titles album “LUVELLI”, features both breathtaking ballads and up-tempo grooves, illustrating the many different sides there are to Luvelli. "Whatever situation you're going through, there's a song on this album that will relate to that," Luvelli insists, speaking of his latest LP. Limiting the guest appearances to just one, Luvelli teams up with Vetreran rapper Lil Cease from Junior Mafia for "Freak $hit," a definite club-banger. Luvelli is Italian and Hattian, that is a mixture of love and power. He shows it in his flamboyant personality. He is one of the most interesting and intelligent young men I have ever met. He makes calculated moves like a business man and yet he has the ability to make a seemless transition to creative genius. Though Luvelli has always mirrored himself in his music, this self titled album, comes closest to Luvelli, the person. When Luvelli found himself at the mercy of life's struggles, the artist decided to devote all of himself to his music. The recent passing of his mother made Luvelli dig deep into his soul to find his most personal feelings. "With the recent death of my mother, this album enabled me to say things that most artists wouldn't say or let anyone know about. I wanted to be truthful and say what I really felt. I'm glad that I'm able to share these personal feelings with my supporters. It makes me feel that they really know me," says Luvelli. On "Why I am," a dedication to his mother, Luvelli opens the door, and lets listeners into his life. With the help of Antonio “Huggy Bear” Fargas (I’m Gonna Git You Sucka, and Don’t Be a Menace), Luvelli is making his dreams come true. “I have always been an entertainer from the time I could remember, always acting out scenes, singing for friends and had the support of my mother for letting me be as creative as I wanna be,” Luvelli has appeared in TV shows, commercials and movies. He started at a young age winning speech tournaments when in grade school. “I love my fans, and will do anything to please them, I am a baby in the industry but that will soon change.” “I’m not in it a minute, I’m here to live it and win it.” Luvelli is dedicated to what he does a true professional of his craft, working with Top producers to always find exactly what he is trying to express. He has had several songs but has never released them, “I didn’t feel it was time, everyone told me how much they loved the songs, but I didn’t feel right about them, now I feel fabulous about the new release, it is something I like personally and hope that others feel me too.” Among other artists, Luvelli is a trendsetter, whether its using original choreography on stage or recording cutting edge Rap/R and B music. "What you see is what you get," he offers. "And you'll always see my best."
