Lyrical Bliss is by no doubt the most reputable rapper residing in the 519 and has been mastering the mic for 15 years. Young bucks just entering the game give credit to Bliss for inspiration. Known for his flawless performance, Bliss brings life to the mediocrity in the Windsor pub scene. Bliss has opened the stage for such artists as Rascals and Rob Base. He has appeared on several cameos with other local artists such as Essex Court, Dedman, and Axman. His most popular song “Dough” with Axman, featuring Vino was a key track contributed to the “Embassy In Da Booth” CD (2003) and gave him credit as a producer for the first time. In 2000 he dropped the video “Hopeless” on Much Music receiving moderate rotation. Written and directed by Orlando Mosely, the video suggested political views on the “new world order”.
Representing Windsor, Ontario this proud Canadian is out to speak his mind to the world. With a debut CD entitled “What I Have To Say” (released in October 2005), Lyrical Bliss is doing just that. This well rounded hip-hop creation contains witty lyrics expressed in energetic tones. Bliss’ rich vocal deliveries are complimented by the hard hitting arrangements of Axman (Chris Fielder) who’s production quality is outstanding. Styles range from political to street conscience with track titles like “Smoked Out”, “Bugz Me” and “I Dare You”. Bliss is who the world has been waiting on.
