Makahiya, 4 musicians from Chicago makin' some loud-ass quaalude thunder, with echoes of stoner/psych/space rock and some acid funk . All the band members, long active in other Chicago bands (Torg, Gravelbone, Eleven Dollar Life, etc.), came together as a lark to make some music.
