Combining the orchestral punch of Mahler with the grand-scale cinematic scoring of John Williams, German composer Schweder's film music honors its classical heritage. A couple more timpani, an extra pinch of melodrama, and he'd be well onto Spielberg's radar.
Biography
I'm a composer of symphonic music for concert, stageplays, film and all sorts of multimedia projects since 1999. I see my music in the tradition of Gustav Mahler, Claude Debussy, Richard Strauss, Jean Sibelius, Elgar, R.V.Williams and many other composers of the early 20th. century. Of course there are some contemporary composers I admire like John Williams, Jerry Goldsmith and other famous composers of orchestral filmmusic.
