While still in his teens, this Dallas crooner toured with 98 Degrees as a member of Sons of Harmony, and he clearly picked up a few pointers from the brothers Lachey. Hernandez' brand of smooth soul-pop bears strong similarities to the sort that made Miss Jessica all wobbly kneed.
Born in Phoenix, Arizona and raised in the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex, Latin Pop and R&B sensation, Marcos Hernandez is no stranger to the recording industry. This 23 year-old vocal powerhouse caught the attention of many in the industry at the age of 18 as a member of the Dallas-based group, Sons of Harmony. As a key member of the group, Marcos performed with such acts as 98 Degrees, Jessica Simpson, Mandy Moore and Pink, as well as completing a 30-city tour with the Grammy Award winning group, Destiny's Child. Additionally, Marcos and the Sons of Harmony performed on FOX, the WB, and won the Best Undiscovered Vocal Group in America from VH1.After the success of Sons of Harmony, Marcos decided to spread his solo wings. Marcos was quickly recognized by Tommy Quon, manager of Vanilla Ice, and they started recording his debut album. LA based producer Rich E. Blaze, whose production credits include working with TLC, Ricky Martin, Leanne Rimes, KellyClarkson and others, produced several songs. While collaborating with Rich E. Blaze, Marcos caught the ear of none other than Diane Warren. She fell madly in love with his voice and immediately requested that he record for her and add his magic to hers. Other featured producers on the album include Magic of the NB Riderz, Jerome Harmon, producer for Kirk Franklin, Russ Lee and Ponti. Collaborations include tracks with Magic/NB Riderz and Gemini to name a few. The CD, "C About Me", contains 16 songs including his first single "If You Were Mine." With striking good looks, enormous talent, and a uniquely beautiful voice combined with the ability to write the hits, Marcos is poised and ready to take his place in music history.
