Biography
The Mars Blues Band formed on the plains of Cydonia way back in 1965 after monitoring radio broadcasts from Earth and hearing the Beatles, Yardbirds, and Rolling Stones. We figured that if the English could play this music even Martians could do it. We first called ourselves the Martians but after getting in to Cream and Hendrix, and from there B.B. King and Lightin' Hopkins we changed our name. Of course most of our music isn't really what you would call the blues, it's the aestetic that we go for. After all we are from Mars, so we are always spaced out.
