Biography

A shape-shifting musician performing a genre-blending mix of instrumental acoustic world, folk, reggae, fusion music featuring acoustic guitar, mandolin, bass, flutes, percusssion, and didjeridu.

**** Contact me at martinball@verizon.net if you are interested in ordering a CD. I accept "PayPal"!

You can also hear more of my music on Download.com at Orobai, esoteric world fusion, Lucidium, goth/dream pop, and Natural Roots, all acoustic reggae -- without a doubt my most popular page with 1000-2000 downloads weekly, and a new page of folk at Down Fern Creek.

Biography: I began my pursuit of music as a teenager by playing guitar, bass, and keyboards, and imitating my favoirte alternative/goth bands. Later I branched out into reggae and began adding percussion instruments to my mix. In college I focused mainly on the guitar and began recording my own music with my 4 track recorder. In graduate school, as I was working on my PhD in religious studies (emphasizing Native American religions), I added didjeridu, harmonica, mandolin, and various ethnic flutes and an expanded range of percussion to my collection. I now combine these instruments in digital recordings on my Mac to make beautiful and expressive instrumental music. I have produced several of my own CD's which are available locally and via the internet.
