Master Joe & OG Black are longtime practitioners of reggaeton, the Puerto Rican hybrid that takes reggae-style rhythms and dresses them in hip-hop and dancebeat stylings. Another classic reggaeton feature is the blending of various Caribbean and Latin styles, and this duo can be heard cleverly infusing salsa, merengue, and steel drums into its hard beats.

Master Joe and OG Black, the classic reggaeton duo are still setting the trends for an entire genre. MJ and OG have had countless hits being veterans of classic albums such as Playero, DJ Joe, DJ Frank, and The Noise series among others, and highly succesful albums such as Los Francotiradores Volume 1 and 2, La Coleccion, Sabotage, and on June 28, 2005 their new album Las K-becillas. MJ and OG are currently collaborating in projects with Rastas and Gangstas Soundsytem.
