Biography
Masuran is the work of experimental musicians Justin Carter, Andrew Gath and Michael Snodgrass. When their powers combine, Masuran deliver pleasant, instrumental drone music with guitar often at the forefront and sometimes minimal vocals. Some of their tracks such as "Answer the Why Question" and "Elephant Rocks" leak out of speakers like ambient fog.
Others opt to use guitar buzz as foundation, lacing quiet and spare synth melodies to fill things out.
Fans of Godspeed, Sigur Ros, and Mogwai's more sedate moments will probably enjoy spacing out to Masuran's laid-back debut.
