Biography
Voracious black metal, chthonian growls, tornadic poetry....From where the Shadow is thrown to the fire rises our creation.
Materia Prima emerged in early 2005 from the collaboration of Kerry Vick (Controlled Chaos) with Rose J., a black/death vocalist. The first demo from the band, Soliloquies for Being, entered on the 19th of August 2005. Our EP, Relic Radiation was released on the 14th of March, 2006.

MAY 13th 2006 UPDATE
We celebrate the birth and mourn the death of one of the true metal warriors: Chuck Schuldiner. We have released a tribute song entitled "The Lucent Warrior." Together with the song "Relic Radiation," from the 2006 EP it creates our newest release The Lucent Warrior single. Listen to both songs here or higher quality versions from our official website.
