As this Third Eye Foundation fellow notes, simplifying his sound hasn't taken any of the spook out of his post-rock tracks. Elliott's latest, "The Mess We Made," is a tremulous set of post-baroque chamber elements melded into fuzzy tracks. He seems to channel the history and future of the gothic.
Biography
Under his own name, Third Eye Foundation henchman Matt Elliott offers sinister, chaotic post-rock workouts that rely less on experimental electronics but are if anything more contorted and unnerving than his previous work.
