Ballads made of sweet Brazilian guitar and some poppier fare from a young songwriter from San Paulo. Strings, tight bass and drum patterns buoy the smooth female vocals of Mauricio's female collaborator, Nancy Galvoa, on the full arrangements. Classic acoustic and light percussion sit well with the simpler fare.
Biography
Mauricio started to play drums and acoustic guitar when he was 15. Soon he started to write his own songs. With many partners and by himself, he has written now up to 150 songs, besides taking part in some bands like Quanta Planta, with the singer Nancy Galvao (http://music.download.com/nancygalvao) and others. Other partners include Gustavo Grandjean, Alex Ricciardi, Rodrigo Ascencao and Cicero Barbosa.
