Mick Coxinha is a former member of the folk/rock band Triciclo Bandeirante, which had some local success in the previous years. In 2007, Mick Coxinha decided to put a solo album and managed to record his solo debut, keeping the folk tendencies and adding some psychedelic and progressive flavour to it, resulting in a very introspective and conceptual work. The lyrics are in Portuguese, and talk about many aspects of the people lives, like a ridiculous candidate for Governor, a bad refrigerator and the suffering after a war. His most acclaimed songs are Levy Fidelix, Eu Estava Errado and Titanic, all of them being very folk / rock, with some analog synthesizer sounds to create a better atmosphere and giving a modern feel to them. Nada Sobrou is a more rock influenced. A Guerra Acabou and De Volta Ao Eden are classical-minimalist songs with poetry and the other songs are psychedelic/space rock songs with long solos and experimental things. Mick Coxinha played all instruments in this album "live in studio", so there are no overdubs. Even so the songs are rich in different elements. The production was made by himself in a cheap equipment, so some songs may not have a clear sound and this was not the intention of the artist. Mick Coxinha wanted to make raw music and plant seeds for a great future solo career.
