Middle Rhythm Session

We are a completely original band playing out of Tampa Florida. We all moved here about two years ago, from various places in the midwest. We are classified as a "jam" band, which is alright because a lot of our influences are jam oriented, but in all honesty we despise our label. We do have long songs and a fair amount of improvosation, but it is all contained within a tedious Zappa-esqe structure. The other thing that defines us against a jam band is the fact that we can sing, we have a lot of big three part harmonies (in tune harmonies) and we are not afraid to write a catchy song. We play Tampa regularly, but we are focusing on branching out right now. We are making regular passes through north Florida, New Orleans, Texas (Houston, Austin, Bryant, Dallas) and have hit Georgia, North Carolina and hope to nail the midwest soon, seeing as were all from there. We put on a long show with a good sound system, theatrics, and occasionally some lighting. We have two album length demos right now, that you can purchase, and we record all of our shows show we have an extensive archive.
