Odds are, you've heard the mark of Park without even realizing it; as founder of Asian Man Records, Park harbors a slew of major ska and punk acts, from Alkaline Trio to the Blue Meanies. Park's solo material is ultracatchy, guitar-based indie pop, as clear-eyed and literate as you'd expect from the master of ceremonies.
Biography
Mike Park has kept himself busy over the last decade. Not only does he run Asian Man Records, but he has continued to purse his love of music, playing both solo and with his bands (The Chinkees, The B. Lee Band, ex-Skankin Pickle), touring all over the North America, Europe, Asia, and Canada, as well as organizing charity tours and events via his non-profit The Plea for Peace Foundation. Recently he has been working on writing and recording a new set of acoustic songs to be released on his debut album in November 2003.
