Editor's review

Detroit-born producer Modlife weighs in with some hefty sonic shots sure to hype up discos across the globe. Pumping beats move like a prizefighter training for a title shot, while triggered keyboard jabs fill in the spaces like a sparring partner. The champion sound executed by the techno technician should make tonight's highlight reel.

Biography

An avid socialite, artist Joshua Camp has spent an entire lifetime dedicated to the love and acceptance music can bring. Growing up in Nashville, TN the saxaphone being his primary interest as a child, his skills quickly surpassed even the most skilled learned musicians. In 1994 his interest in the party scene saw him sneaking out and dancing into the wee hours of many an early sunday morning and meeting many of the world's elite producers/djs. In 1998 this passion's draw inspired Joshua to start Established Grooves, a Detroit based event production company. Later joining forces with Goodfellaz in Nashville, "on top of the world" could only begin to describe the experience. "Man, I mean, I've partied and worked with some CRAZY people, people you never expect to meet - Shock G, Alice in Chains, Poison even to name a few" Joshua had to say of his encounters. In Fall of 2001 Joshua left the promotions game to accept an offer to work as a booking agent for the likes of Petra, The Imperials, Philmore and a few other high profile Christian artists. Needless to say, he was all but thrilled about his position out of the spotlight and into the cubicle. His first big break as an artist came in late 2002 when he was asked to score an Indy Film("Wrong Number") for some friends. This gave him enough to drive him to success. Joshua is currently residing in his birthplace-Detroit, MI. Samples from The Lifted EP that are available for download are just a taste of this artists potential, as he has plans to release a multiple disc album to exagerate all the genres of modern electronic dance music; all with the ModLifestyle twist of Course. Modlifestyle is currently in search of a suitable publishing/ recording deal. Contact them at Modlifestyle@yahoo.com
