Editor's review

Perhaps these guys do take Mondays off, but here's guessing they're booked solid the rest of the week. The Wilmington, N.C. jazz collective has been earning a strong reputation in their hometown and beyond for a style that blends squealing bluesy sax, hard funk, and playful Scofieldian drum-and-guitar meanderings.

Biography

Hello all you music lovers! We are MONDAYS OFF from Wilmington, N.C. We have had extraordinary feedback and a solid group of people latching on to our sound - thanks to all of you. Our style is fusion-jam, pooling genres of funk, jazz, rock, and groove to create a sound unlike most you will find. In the band we have Kevin Butler (guitar), David "Woody" Woods (bass), Alex "Commander Xander" Farr (drums) and newly added faux vocalist Rob "Chicago" Cosgrove (tenor sax). So, there it is. Now you know just a little bit about the band. Check out our site often--www.mondaysoff.biz--as we will be updating everytime there is reason. See you at the shows and spread the groove! PEACE!!
