This is brutally dark and oppressive metal that effortlessly shifts between fast and thrashy, and slow and foreboding. Sounding at times like James Hetfield, the lead singer delivers melodies as well as a raspy growl.

Monolith gives Hardcore/Metal heads intense speed, heavy grooves, vast guitar riffs, solos that slay, immense drumming, and a distinguishably profound vocal assault. Mixing all of these characteristics together is nothing new to the follower of extreme music and extreme culture, but Monolith excels where other's fail, Performance!
