Yes, and it's no offense at their individual and collective outstanding ability as singers and musicians.
Actually, they have their own peculiarities and it couldn't be otherwise, but hey, from Lester Flatt and Earl Scruggs that I consider as kings of BG music, to the last newborn band playing that same kind of music, Mudd Creek is undoubtedly a landmark for sticking to the old tradition and for the high quality of their music.
I'm just amazed at their finger picking, their vocals and the overall harmony they can get out of their tunes.
They are just a living banner of what great results can be achieved when you combine a heartfelt attitude with a skill that tells how seriously they studied and practiced their music to electrify any audience lucky enough to listen to them.
May they, on their turn, stimulate, help and teach any young one they meet to follow suit and give a personal and, as such, exclusive contribution to keep BG waving, lively and loved for ages.
Enjoy!
