Finnish producer Muffler creates techno-influenced drum 'n' bass marked by ferocious rhythms and pummeling bass lines, all of it as dark and intense as the blackest black metal. Working with big names like Mickey Finn and Aphrodite, this up-and-coming comrade's catalytic beats and coagulating sounds encase his warrior spirit with metallic break-beat armor. Let the drums begin.
Biography
At just 20 years old, Muffler, based in Helsinki, Finland, is a very talented producer and DJ. He got into jungle back in the 1994 when he heard the tracks like Shy FX “Original Nuttah” and Deep Blue “Helicopter”. The cream of UK DJs including Grooverider, Bad Company, L Double, Mickey Finn, Ed Rush and Aphrodite have been playing his tracks.
So far he has had five very succesful 12” releases on Urban Takeover which have got him some well deserved attention in the year 2002. Besides his club gigs, he has been booked to play in the big festivals like Roskilde in Denmark.
As a DJ, Muffler plays everything from old classics to the latest dubplates. He plays a lot of his own stuff. His latest tracks are given only to a select group of DJ’s to play on dubplate.
On Urban Takeover his full length album entitled “Soundz Of The Future” which as you can expect has establish him as one of the big producers in drum ‘n bass.
Forthcomming, Muffler has another album due for release very soon.
