Biography

The New Heads weaselled their way onto Vancouver's late 80's music scene with the class of a mouldy crouton. This was more a loose gang of music fans and nasty drunks than a traditional band; however the smell still lingers on thanks to a legacy of live shows, public stunts, instant singles, television and movie appearances, fashion modelling, and the one-of-a-kind cassalbum "Nancy Punks".

The New Heads have been known to contain: Kevin-11, Egbert "Picky" Ninelives, Barry Buck$, Cringe Shrinkinside, K-Dub, Herman the Hamster, Brian Chuckles, George, Digital Phil Cloma, Mr. Roberston (Jr.), the Senator s Son, Drugge, Kelly, Dale, plus a bevy of guest stars and long forgotten legends.

The New Heads have spawn the following known recording or performing acts: The New Heads on the Block, The New Heads the Next Generation, The Acapulco Drug Band, The Fucking Bastards from LA, Glob, the Noisy Row, The Bad Poets Society, and the Eggmen.

The New Heads are known to have performed at: The Smiling Buddha Cafe, The Crystal Ballroom in the Pan Pacific Hotel, Science World, The Railway Club, The Waterfront, The Cruel Elephant in the Hotel California, Lynn Valley Park, Capilano College, CO-OP Radio, The Arts Club Seymour, the Channel One Klub, the North Shore Recreation Centre, Cheers, house parties, jam sessions, and basements.

The New Heads have performed with acts as diverse as: No Fun, the H^ters, blackhumour, Vertical Laughter, Mary, Deviant and the Clones, Bad Noise, Octapussy, Tippy-a-Go-Go and Wavy Gravy.
