TMU is pleased to announce the highly anticipated debut release from ORTHRELM. The duo consists of resident genius Mick Barr on guitar/vocals (of CROM-TECH) and Josh Blair on drums (of ABCS). Musically, this release is more intricate than CROM-TECH (if that was possible) and takes a more "metal" approach, though slightly. If you are not familiar with ORTHRELM or CROM-TECH, they are a guitar and drum duo based out of Washington, DC/Brooklyn, NY that play intense, very fast, abstract, free-jazz inspired, sometimes incomprehensible, prog-hardcore. Mick has been called "the best guitarist EVER" by many a person. People have been asking about ORTHRELM for almost a year and we are pleased with their debut and know you will be as well. This release is a 99-song one-sided etched 12" and 99-song CD (sorry, no etching on CD). Yes, 99 songs on one-side. The vinyl is much cooler. The etching was done by Mick himself. He drove up from DC and went to the mastering lab and etched it on a virgin lacquer on the spot. A truly original record by one of the most original bands on the planet. Go tell your friends!
