Editor's review

It’s alive! Pittsburgh’s Our Dying Moment wed the galloping dexterity of Iron Maiden to the unhinged aggression of the new metal-core movement. With tempos dangerously approaching the outer realms of rhythm and a world class growler at the mic, Our Dying Moment breathes new life into heavy metal.

Biography

Our Dying Moment assembled in Pittsburgh, revels in a passionate display of abusive Metal, dispelling conventionality and the standards in which society attempts to contain them. Their sound consists of many layers, fueling a final collective countenance that defies moral obligation. Our Dying Moment consists of five members that feed off each other musically, building entire compositions. Rob Heil and DJ Walker take turns with aggressive lead guitars, providing variance and originality. Joel Gally supports it with more serious and intensely focused lead vocals. Zach Thimons fills in his experience with mind blowing Bass Rhythms. While Matt Brozovich delivers a destructive tempo on the drums. As of late, O.D.M. has ignited the scene in the North East United States, in true wild-fire form. With influences that range from (but not limited to) Killswitch Engage and Shadows Fall and others, one can easily see where the flame was fanned. With mind blowing down tuned guitars, and Screaching Fierce vocals with a hint of melodic feeling, Our Dying Moment paves the way to success in the Metal Scene. Now in the scene playing with National acts such as, Killswitch Engage, Slaves on Dope etc, Our Dying Moment will not take no for an answer. They keep battling the PA, and Cleveland area to build a bigger fan base. They make their music in a way that many different listeners can adapt and hold on too. Struggling with empty pockets just to get to a venue Our Dying Moment leaves a mark on the people that just witnessed pure brutal metal at its finest. In essence, their priority is simply to have fun doing what they love, keeping each crowd they play to captivated and lusting for their next performance. They welcome all reviews, personal and press, as they pave the way for major bragging rights.
