Editor's review

Formed in '69 and still going strong, Chain is one of the longest-running Australian blues-rock combos the world has ever seen. More impressive than Chain's longevity, however, is the bandmembers' ability to lock into a groove and send it into space.

Biography

The Australian Chain started it's first Album in 1969 and hasn't stopped recording playing and touring since. The original bass player of Chain was Barry ( big goose) Sullivan who we sadly lost on the 27th. October, 2003, but tracks from the Album we made together are on the "Brother_Goose" Page. I am Barry ( lil goose) Harvey and have been playing with CHAIN now for 36 years on drums. Chain has toured with Muddy Waters and recorded with a couple of the guys from Muddy's band. We also toured with Albert Collins in the 80's. He was a lovely guy as was Muddy Waters, those two guys were real Gentlemen of Blues. Chain has a new Album coming out in 2005 and am looking forward to that . But, I wanted to lay a couple of Classic Chain Songs on you, as they are dynamite. Love, Lil Goose.
