Biography
Rapture is a band from Brisbane, Australia and it features the talents of Chris Perera and John Meerabux. Their debut album, Whispers From The Heart drew on their life's experience. Their music features wholesome solos of John's tenor saxafone and keyboard melodies.
Formed in the Summer of 2007, high school friends Chris Perera and John Meerabux reunited after a five year absence from their high school Big Band to form Rapture, a pop-jazz band.
Currently writing their debut album, Whispers From The Heart, Rapture has just released their first single Careless Whispers. Whispers From The Heart is a personal journey through each band member's life and will be released early in the new year.
