After Malseance, a first?6 tracks debut cd on Labellule, a little french label from Rennes, Britany, Piero comes back with a second 3 tracks cd, Demissionnaire, on Super Apes, a new CD-R label from Nantes.
Piero has been (and is still) playing bass or guitare in?several bands from different styles (grunge, noise, free jazz, acoustic french pop, reggae/dub) but has always been recording little pop songs all alone, with his acoustic guitar and many other noisy objects. Theses tracks are the result of twelve years of home cooking on a 4 track tape, finaly remixed with the help of today's computer technology.
If the first EP was acoustic and optimistic, the second one is much more dark and violent, sad and pessimistic. You can identify influences from different french musicians (Miossec, Kim, Diabologum) and of course european and american bands (Sebadoh, Slint, Mogwai, The Melvins...). Piero's music can be rock and noisy, folk and quiet, energic and cheerful, sluggish and sad, but always in Piero's lo-fi french style.
