''Planet Earth: Music from the BBC TV Series''

The Discovery Channel's Emmy-winning "Planet Earth" series features stunning high-definition aerial photography and a lush score to match. The series' original music, composed by George Fenton (Gandhi, Cry Freedom, In Love and War) and performed by the BBC Concert Orchestra, is a vibrant, rich selection of score pieces written for each of the 11 episodes. Several score pieces from the Emmy-winning series have been collected for Planet Earth: Music By George Fenton, to be released March 25 by EMI America Records in a 2-CD package and digitally.

More than five years in the making, "Planet Earth" was produced by the same team as "The Blue Planet." Narrated by actress and conservationist Sigourney Weaver, the series has been honored with four Emmy Awards, including George Fenton?s award for Outstanding Music Composition for a Series.
