Between hardcore, extreme rough electronic and commercial, low taste, one-season disposable dance enterprises - there is a creative space for positive vibes and energetic, mood electronic music in trance, electro, techno, house, club, downtempo and ambient styles - based mostly on the playing with beats and samples, melodic sequences and loops. There is where Polish The Sounds flows...

Polish The Sounds is a new music project, made in Poland, by Marek FALTUS. He starts his musical journey in Uruguay (South America) forming in 1986 his first band - the new wave ''Zona Prohibida'' playing with Carlos Sosa and Gustavo Doorman and later in 1987 the synth-pop ''Les Fleurs Du Mal'' together with Carlos Rosasco, Laurent Naude and Luc Naude. Now, after few years of silence followed by some music experiments as part of MAARS open-art project - he is back - and he's thrilled to bits ;-) New Century became ...and this means a new beginning. Now, he is using computer and music software more frequently than the keyboards he used to play in his old bands. Just a change of tools. No less no more. Electronic sounds, electronic tools but still this music is 100% made by human and for the pleasure of human beings.

Ghost in the machine? Well... Fan of everything related with the future, the science, the technology and the space conquest - from the first time he heard it, he loved the world of synthetic sounds of new instruments invented just in the XX century! Because what else in music - better than the sounds of synthesizers, keyboards and electronic percussion - can fit, can symbolize, characterizes and represents the moods and vibes of the space-age fever, the modern times, the fast changes in lifestyle made by ''yesterday's science-fiction'' technology and the new mythologies with encounters of 3rd kind, nazca plateau, bermuda triangle and so on? And that was his reality of the 1970's and 80's decades - Times of nuclear fear and hope of brighter and perspicuous future at the same time...

Probably, that's why he began his musical education listening to, uncounted times, the early works of the pioneers of electronic music - like Jean Michael Jarre, Tangerine Dream, Kraftwerk, Klaus Schulze, Vangelis and Kitaro. After the mid 70's punk revolt and in the early 1980's there was an explosion of electronic keyboard and sinthesizer based music. He was interested in New Wave, New Romantic, Synth and Electro-pop, Industrial, the 4AD bands, etc. At those days almost everything was flavoured with electronic sounds - great times of challenge, new instruments, cool music, moods, fashions and vibes! So, ...how not to be a part of that? ;-)

Still feeling those days' faith in human spirit and invention, those power of dreaming and of course for everybody's fun - Polish The Sounds made to date two albums: ''Godspeed'' and ''The best is yet to come'' floating in today's huge music space defined by the old-school masters and next great musicians and DJs like - to mention some most known: Underworld, CJ Bolland, Leftfield, Chemical Brothers, Utah Saints, William Orbit, Nightmares On Wax, Orbital, Juno Reactor, Fluke, Air, Moby, Chicane, Zero 7, Groove Armada, Paul Van Dyk, Armin Van Buuren, Christopher Lawrence, Paul Oakenfold, Carl Cox, Roger Sanchez, Ron Van Den Beuken, DJ Ramirez, Krist Van D, Tiesto, Robet Miles, Tom Novy, Members of Mayday, The Polish Ambassador, Daft Punk, DJ Adamus, Oscar Lloyd, Monsieur Esse, Krzysztof Chochlow, Marcelo Castelli, Juan Campodonico, Luciano Supervielle, Bajofondo Tango Club, Gotan Project, etc, etc.
