Stockholm's Porcelina makes sincere indie-pop that's given anchor by pleading lead vocals vaguely recalling Toad the Wet Sprocket's Glen Phillips. Not that the rest of the group is anything but stellar, playing affecting, guitar-based scruff ditties lodged in a wistful land between harmonic '60s pop and Westerbergian '80s college rock.
Porcelina has been together for 10 years with various members, instruments and names. There isn't a lot to say really, they write ballads and pop songs, throw in some harmonica and 60's guitar riffs. They work hard and try to create a sound to get people through the long cold Scandinavian winter... The songs here come from their first 2 self produced ep's.
