Refering presumably to "the jams," Portugal's Pump proceeds to do just what their name suggests...though not as you might expect. For instance, there's little in the way of Iberian rhythms here--just hard, modern disco beats and a brazen exploitation of the synthesizer that suggests many hours spent absorbing the Chemical Brothers.
