Step into the occult ambience of Rasika. Their ritualistic soundscapes recall Dead Can Dance or Current 93 with an ethnic edge. Rickety tribal drums and Middle Eastern drones challenge the listener’s sense of security while seducing the senses. This is music from the dark side of the moon.

Rasika is a diverse musical group based in central NC.

Rasika's music is a hybrid blend of many musical styles including; Ethereal, Tribal, Neo-Folk, Dark Folk,Romantic,Alternative Classical, Early Musics (Medieval/Baroque) , Dark Ambient,Pagan,Ritualistic,Occult,and various World Musics i.e.East Indian, Middle Eastern, Celtic.
Please note that the songs available here are self-recorded and produced demo versions.We're currently at work on our forthcoming c.d.
