Raz Bin Sam

Raz bin Sam has a unique style and sound which ranges from gentle lullabies to the hardest high energy ragga. Always fuelled by conscious lyrics, the charisma and originality of Raz Bin Sam stems from growing up in the war ridden streets of Israel.

After years of music filled travels Raz Bin Sam has eventually chosen Australia to be his base for producing English works, spreading the Israelite truth internationally through original roots and culture music.

His first album ?Kivsayat? was recorded in Hebrew in 1999.

In 2002 Raz Bin Sam recorded the album ?Domesila? in Byron Bay.

His third album ?Bin Tote Too? came in April of 2005.

While Raz Bin Sam & The Lion I Band?s first full length album is in the making, Raz Bin Sam is also working on a solo album with Australian reggae producer Mista Savona (Melbourne meets Kingstone).

Raz Bin Sam is working his live shows with two different outfits.He has teamed up with Selecta Krazy Dayv and Dj Lennox Dread and their Rub A Dub sound to form a traditional dancehall style sound system.

Raz Bin Sam is also the front man of the 5 piece original reggae/dancehall band Lion I.

The band uses a combination of roots, ragga and middle eastern rhythms.

Raz Bin Sam and the Lion I band are quickly being recognised as guaranteed crowd pullers.They have billed at numerous festivals including Exodus 06, Splendour in the Grass 06 and Beats On The Beach 07 and played with international artists such as dancehall star Tippa Irie and reggae superstar Luciano.

Raz Bin Sam?s tunes can be heard regularly on reggae radio shows in Australia and Israel

His songs are also used in surf films and are regularly used for extreme sports online TV channel ?SKUFF TV?.
