Red Headed Step Children

The Red Headed Step Children are a two piece band from Tulsa, OK.? We have been described as Jerry Lee Lewis shredding the piano with Animal the Muppet attacking the drums.?We play an instrumental (no vocals) mixture of punk rock ragtime and boogie'n blues.? Electric piano is played by JJ Swanson.?He makes use of piano, organ, and lots of other sounds he can dig up. Austin Giles is the drummer/percussionist. He likes a washboard or two mounted on his kit and plays a modified old Ludwig drumset. We are constantly looking for shows of every type including house shows, punk shows, bars, lounges, coffee shops, casinos, etc...But we prefer a rowdy crowd willing to shake their booties. (WARNING) If you should have the good fortune of attending a Red Headed Step Children performance your hair may be painted orange and your booty may wiggle uncontrollably.
