Biography

RENE TROSSMAN - Musical C.V. "RT" was born "Rene Trossman" in Chicago, Illinois, known the world over as, "The Home Of The Blues". He is a guitarist with a strong feeling for traditional blues. Based in Prague since 1994, Rene started playing gigs in the late 80?s, in a club called Rosa's Lounge, in Chicago. It was at that time he attended the "Berkeley of the Blues" - the Chicago club scene, and was under the tutelage of some amazing "professors", including Buddy Scott, Little Mack Simmons, Byther Smith and Lurrie Bell. Buddy Scott was his primary influence, teacher, mentor and friend, until Buddy's untimely passing in 1995. Rene went on to play in many other clubs in Chicago and around the USA and Europe, but always carries with him the lessons he learned from Buddy and the other real blues men from that scene.
