Editor's review

Named after the gangster who headed up a crack empire in the '80s, Rick Ross is about as gangster as you get in the rap game. He rhymes with aggressive swagger about all the usual suspects: drugs, women, more drugs, violence, and the streets--and, in the end, the Miami native sounds like Clipse might if it was a solo project.

Biography

Before Rick Ross gained national success, his talent was discovered by legendary music mogul Tony Draper. The top-selling Miami rapper was one of many up and coming artists signed to Draper's Suave House Records. Ross was going to continue the tradition of seminal artists to debut on the powerhouse label until legal woes with Suave House's parent company kept the breakthrough album from ever being released. With Draper's permission, Rick Ross went on to explore other options and the rest is history.

Due to popular demand, Rick Ross is back with his exceptional Suave House release "Rise To Power". This album contains exclusive tracks of pure uncut raw Ross. Guest appearances include Scarface, The Clipse, Next, Devin Tha Dude, Big Duke of Boyz N The Hood, Noah and much more. The first single will be "Get That Bread" featuring Big Duke Of Boyz N The Hood.
