Biography
My name is Per Rinaldo. I live in the middle of the Swedish wilderness where I also have a small studio. But my musical influences trace their origins from the whole world.
I have travelled the world, and also lived for a number of years in Spain where I was captured by the arabian traces in the Spanish culture. But I?ve also experienced the Middle East.
I have written a lot of music for a series of TV-documentarys about the genocide in Rwanda.This commission (for the Swedish Television) made me dig deep into the fascinating African musical tradition. But I filter all the impressions I get trough my own personal experiences and my own musical ideas. My music contains a lot of soul and feeling.
