The first internet superstars, Luv Machine & Robert Fairweather, set the stage for 2007 or 2008 blowout concert tour and prepare explosive release of five cd music collections on Apple Computer's Ipod Itunes (and over ten other internet music retailers including Microsoft, VH1 and others).

Robert Fairweather & LUV MACHINE'S press agents have pooled their ideas and assessed the recent success of the band, and now are announcing the current direction of the band and plans for the future:
"We would like to announce no shows will be booked for the remainder of 2005 and extending into 2006...and maybe 2007 when you're talking about the LUV MACHINE & Robert Fairweather", said PR staff leader Anna Astley. "He likes to play the backyard parties with close friends for the time being" says Astley. She denied rumors that Robert has tremendous stage fright and has refused several tour and management deals because of his agoraphobia. "Robert just played an Octoberfest gig and he mingled with the crowd between sets...it's his style because he likes his fans and friends", Astley added.
Robert has just booked studio time for his upcoming fifth cd titled "MARIA" (loaded with many AOR guaranteed breakout hits including the title cut "Maria", the outstanding "Oh Tomorrow"). This will be his fourth cd within one year's span and he has a fifth acoustic laced cd ready and in the can...done that he composed in his home studio. He plays all of the instruments on this one too (It will be on Itunes soon with the title "Dirges: In the dark").
That's five cd's released in the span of about one year for Robert Fairweather. Fairweather is a local suburban Chicago musician that ironically comes from the same high school as talented rocker Billy Corgan of Smashing Pumpkin's fame.
Robert's been on the scene since the mid 1980's working the corner bars and backyard parties. In the 1990's he stepped up to bigger venues including Rockford's Riverfront Fest working with the Millenium Band and touring the midwest. He's played north, south, east and west. He's worked South Carolina's blues festival. He's spent many night in the bars of Chicago jamming with some of the best musicians in the world. Some of it rubbed off on the artist.
With wildly diverse palette of sounds ranging from Texas blues, ala Stevie Ray Vaughan, to folksy Bob Dylan fare there's something for everyone to love about this band and this artist. You'll even hear Bon Scott's influence and Bob Marley. It's crazy, and it's kinda cool.
Most bands stick to one sound, LUV MACHINE & Robert Fairweather will kill you with their out and out command of a wide variety of musical styles.
Here's the scoop on the current music cd project "Maria". It's acoustic. It will have a string quartet on some songs. Others will feature Robert's more than competant keyboard skills (he's known as an ace blues rock guitarist around the world by his fans). Look for this band to breakout big in 2006-2007. They've worked years to get to this point.
These songs have all been demo'd, they just need the band and studio treatment.
The song list includes:
"Maria"
"Fish"
"Soul"
"Blues"
"Sunshine"
"Standards"
"Ooh Oooh..."
"Song"
"Grind"
"Tomorrow"
"Fix"
Here comes another biographical sketch from Robert's mind to your ears. Stay Tuned.
Recording starts in September 2005 and runs through February 2006.
Luv Machine & Robert Fairweather are setting the stage for 2007 or 2008's blowout concert tour. Fairweather’s interest in music showed itself early for this rock blues guitar phenom. A three-year old Robert was often found on the kitchen floor, tapping the beat on the pots and pans pulled from the lower cabinets. He was intent on jamming to the music from the radio, television and his parent’s record collection.
Then came the Chicago Blizzard of 1967, as notable as the Chicago Fire -except with snow. Add a large helping of rock and roll music and things would never be the same for Robert or any Chicagoan. The Doors were about to spin their blue voodoo on the world and the first song Robert remembers hearing at a very young age was “Light My Fire”, along with the songs written for The Monkees like “Last Train to Clarksville” and “Daydream Believer”. He also mentions that many of the guittar theme songs from the crazy tv shows of the 60’s and 70’s still inspire him today.
Robert’s interest in the percussion instruments and “music time” in grade school was apparent. Clave was one of his favorite instruments with it’s snappy hard wood tone. Music and instruments and singing were plentiful in Robert’s home. “My dad was in the church choir, we had a piano, some percussion stuff and an old Regal guitar my father bought when he was a kid, that guitar intrigued me but we (my brother or sisters) couldn’t touch it or we’d get scolded if you know what I mean”.
On the television, a host of great musicians including Dizzy Gillepsie and Satch were regular guests and Robert recalls, “Even as a kid I understood and had a feeling for the music these artists played and I wanted to do this too”. Then, out of nowhere, comes Jimi Hendrix. Robert continued to hear this mysterious music from an early age. It sounded so different than any other music.
The next instrument Robert went for was the trumpet in about the 4th grade. Learning the national anthem and his future high school’s fight song, Robert picked these up by listening to the high school band on his front porch any fall afternoon when the local high school football team was playing a half mile away. Robert later attended Glenbard North (ironically, alternative rocker Billy Corgan’s Smashing Pumpkins alma mater) and graduated in ‘83.
