This compilation CD features small Latin outfits from the U.S. border counties of El Paso and Dona Ana. Announcing a specific focus on Grupero and Tejano, the album is not only an appealing intro to under-the-radar talent, it's a nice showcase for slower, vocal-heavy Latin pop less known to American ears.
Biography
Rocky Mountain Gold Vol. 1 is a compilation CD with bands from El Paso County, Texas and Doņa Ana County, New Mexico, compiled by Border Records Label of El Paso and produced by each individual artist for the purpose of promoting the evolving musical talent of the area in the Tejano and Grupero musical styles.
