Biography
Roland Zumpe grew up in a musical environment listening to melodic sixties pop, The Beatles and The British Beat Generation. Since 2001 he has released several studio recordings including Classic, Rock, Electronic and two tribute albums dedicated to The Beatles.
A few songs of Roland Zumpe undoubtably have a Beatleesque retro rock vibe which can be best heard on tracks like Tear yourself away. While his music has its roots in the past, his songs are set firmly in the present giving them a sense of timelessness through his intensely heartfelt passion for Rock n Roll.
