Briefly famous in the late '90s for singles like "World Wide" and "Iced Down Medallions," this Queens MC deserves renown again for his recent material. Hardcore rap, it turns out, mixes quite well with sultry soul-jazz. Here's hoping more gritty street anthems find themselves a horn section and a few Harmon mutes.
Biography
East Coast rapper Royal Flush made a solid bid for a mainstream breakthrough in 1997 with the album Ghetto Millionaire, which sold over 150,000 albums (Blunt Recordings). Two classic singles, "World Wide," and "Iced Down Medallions," were a result of this album. Originally affiliated with Mic Geronimo, the Queens rapper has since worked with Ol? Dirty Bastard, Twista, M.O.P and several other artists.
