Running Potatoes

Running Potatoes is a seven-piece ska/punk/hc band from the southern part of the world...Buenos Aires, Argentina. Running Potatoes is not your average Spanish ska band. Our songs are performed in English and our musical influences include such bands as: MadCaddies, RxBandits, Goldfinger, ReelBigFish, Catch 22, RxBandits, Sublime, Squirrel Nutz Zippers, Codename Rocky, as well older influences like Bob Marley, and The Ramones. Our 11-song debut CD "Empty Pockets"contains high-energy ska-punk, incorporating melodic vocals with a variety of genres such as hardcore, swing, jazz, reggae, and many more. It could be described as somewhere between Goldfinger and Codename Rocky, but with our own Potato flavour. This CD contains a cover of the Louis Armstrong classic "Wonderful World". This album was released in South America by the label Patea Discos, and now we are looking for other labels around the world, with the hope of spread our music everywhere. Now we are on studio recording our second CD, called "Brainless" this one have more skapunk mixing other inffluencies and music styles such as dixieland, surf, reggae, hardcore and more. Plus 2 cover songs of The Ramones, "Ya la la la" and "Needles and pins".
