Editor's review

The longtime dubman is back, and his new stuff is as boldly experimental--and yet melodically grounded--as ever. Tracks like "The Anti-Christ" sound somewhere between an island jam and an extraterrestrial phone call, which is entirely the point.

Biography

Dub 911 is the first studio album of all new material from the dub icon in 3 years and he sounds as fresh as ever. With hundreds of mixes under his belt during the 70's and 80's and a production and engineering credit list that spans as many decades, Scientist continues to play a role in dub reggae that will never be forgotten.
