Scott Gordon

Scott Gordon is a singer-songwriter who has worked as a carpenter and schoolteacher. He plays several instruments, piano keyboards and viola, in addition to having mastered acoustic and electric guitars. A strong, versatile but distinctive voice communicates thoughtful, sometimes passionate lyrics. Writing the perfect song is his quest, however, and gets the better part of his attention. Music styles range from the colorful instrumental piano-based piece, a soft ballad, on up through up-front energetic statements in a popular rock or even progressive rock format, where symphonic backdrops to powerful lyrical statements and sizzling guitar solos can be found as fully developed compositions. Scott is expert at adapting popular music to an acoustic guitar format - "unplugged" - which is well featured in his usual solo performance. Scott is sometimes joined by his wife, Tatiana (they reside together in her native Costa Rica) who is herself an accomplished singer, songwriter and theatre actress.
