Hailing from the Midwest by way of Michigan, this one-man music production whose dirt gritty sound has been categorized as mainly disturbed and edgy has reached the outer limits of the abstract.

The name is Sign One. He's a beat scientist who's unstoppable quest for eating, sleeping and breathing hip hop has generated much notice among his peers of Dj's, Mc's and hip hop heads, and is displayed throughout his various solo projects, collabs, and live shows.

Just like a book, his music tells stories through instruments, revealing works that are for some darkï¿?? and uncomfortable; but for others, its just straight head trippin fixed into space. Hittin on some things that are complex and some things that are serious.ï¿?? Such as Aids and the importance of getting tested (Aids!Baby), child abuse and suicide. Strangely enough its all told through the eyes of Hip Hop and beats from the past, present and future.

So, how can you describe his sound? You might ask. You cant. He hits you with everything..from his rhyme sayer spittin skillsï¿?? to his instrumental work that varies from a fused collection of live samples, live instrument samples, blues, hip hop and rock. With that said it all equals one organic sound well beyond characterization. Sign One's has graduated with street cred under his belt with production work with D.J.Ruckus,(vinyl addicts) Bleubird and Scott DaRos (endemic), D.J. Sole, Jerk Circuit, Fader Ballistix,ï¿?? and his partner 360. He is a man of many skills, always prepared with a mic an Mpc and a vision. What more could be said.
