Like the Postal Service, this LA band can sometimes seem to be both 100-percent electro and 100-percent pop. Theirs is a tapestry of the cooler options on the mixing board, from soft peals to downy loops, but the final loyalty is less to sheer sonics than to crisp melodics and chipper pop optimism.
Biography
The SoftLightes have a new single out just in time for the holidays! It's called Last Christmas on Earth, and it's all about the Earth dying and how us humans are too blame. Cheery stuff! It comes out digitally on December 11 and proceed benefit the eco-charity Earth Hour.
