Biography
With the lineup completed in February 2008, Some Electric Life consist of; Elliot Williams (Vocals/Guitars) Gareth Hughes (Lead Guitar/Lyrics) Matthew Clark (Bass) Joe Pereia (Drums/Percussion) A young band still honing their craft and trying to make the mistakes that set them apart from other bands out there. Influenced by Radiohead, Tool, The Police, Raconteurs and Minus The Bear, Some Electric Life (SEL) create a unique blend of Rock. Their EP, "Dancing About Architecutre" was recorded a month after the band begun. Recorded live (only vocals were overdubbed) it captures the determination to make an excellent EP that reflected our live sound. Propelled by propulsive drumming, infectious riffs, disiplined bass and towering vocals, combined with lyrics that deal with the paranormal, reflection and situations we all face some time in our lifes, SEL provduce a unique melting pot of music.
