As online musical collaborations become increasingly common, this one should quiet concerns about the piecemeal approach. Without seeing each other's faces, Andreas Magnusson and Richard Wilson have built a scruffy, guitar-bound sound that recalls Tweedy in its Middle West alt-country leanings.
Biography
Sonada Yuki is the brainchild of Andreas Magnusson and Richard Wilson. We have no idea of how it will sound. The only thing we know is that it's gonna be great! And no, neither Hanif nor Racingpaperplanes is breaking up! We are just two family guys with no time on our hands, making sure we have even less time on our hands! More info as we go along... We are just starting to write songs together and Andreas came up with the idea to try and build a song like a puzzle or more like chess playing. He starts with say a drum beat and sends that to me. I add a guitar and sends back. He adds... well you get the picture, right? This is also a good way to avoid ever meeting in person. :)
