Songwriters/singers Sue and Tim Montgomery first started writing music together in 1989. By 1992 they had acquired airplay on 9 Buffalo/Western New York radio stations as unsigned artists. (Their airplay total eventually reached 22 stations in six states....)
By 1998, Sue and Tim had quit doing music, but a DJ they knew arranged a private meeting with electric guitar design pioneer Les Paul at the Iridium Jazz Club in New York City in 1999. This encounter re-inspired Sue and Tim to start creating music again. (Sue and Les went off on a tangent and started talking about "piezoelectric engineering" and no one else could follow the conversation!)
Sue and Tim's sound is retro in nature due to their many influences from the 1960's and 1970's. (They do not play live because Tim is one man band and Sue often double tracks lead vocals....)
Their newest recordings are done "mid-fi" on a Korg D3200...
Thanks for listening.....keep on rockin'....
